@pwnage332 Yes, God can do anything. He's all-powerful. And yes, Jesus did die in a very cruel way for us. But He did it because He loves us. We are all sinners. Sin is anything we say, do, or even think that goes against God. We all make mistakes and we have all sinned. The Bible says we deserve to die for that sin. But God wants us in Heaven with Him. Heaven is perfect. If an imperfect person enters an imperfect place, that place isn't perfect anymore. So Jesus had to die to take our place.

@pwnage332 What does Jesus dying have anything to do with us? Obviously you know nothing about it. If Jesus didn't died for us we wouldn't have a chance to live an eternal life in heaven. You're right, Jesus could've made himself live if he wanted but since he loves us so much he died for us so that we wouldn't have to die. If he was never crucified, we would all be lost.
