The 2010 Olympic Torch passes through the town of Grimsby in the Niagara Region at around 10:00am on Sunday 20th . The first shot is on Livingston Ave. near Garden Rd. where the passing of the torch occurs. The torch stops at the Peach King Center for a half hour and then continues to Main Street and exits Grimsby to reach Beamsville and St. Catherines. I have to say it was quite the experience and I even got to hold a torch after wards at the Judge and Jester. Good luck to all athletes in 2010! Taken 20 12 09.

  • My Uncle Gerry was a gold medalist in the 1956 Games in Melbourne Austraila (rifle shooting). They actually ran the torch down the street he lived on in Windsor the other day, right past the house where he grew up and learned to shoot

  • That's amazing! That must have been an experience of a lifetime!

  • Nice! I'm gonna try to catch it in St. Thomas tomorrow!

  • Thanks! Good luck and I can't wait to see the video!
