This doesn't sound like "Voices of Heaven". Don't get me wrong, this is awesome, but it has dark tone to it.

I agree with you and I want to remark that:
1) it was the first performance of this song;
2) the sound was distorted by the church and was not well registered.

The song is based on a traditional folk chant whose language was thought to have magical properties and to be of prehistoric origins and was associated with the coming New Year in Ukraine before the introduction of Christianity
