1. This shooting occurred in a mall where guns are prohibited. That sure stopped this killer, huh?

2. Because normal people do not want trouble and will comply with the rule, they'd be unarmed and defenseless when a nut decides to break this rule thinking of the people in shopping malls as open season for hunting.

3. If you were a killer wanting an easy opportunity for a mass killing for notoriety, would you ever consider trying to shoot at people who could shoot back, stopping you?

Just imagine... you pull out your concealed smith & wesson .40 caliber handgun and shoot the creep in the back of the head!! END of problem! As a 20 year combat vet, I will NEVER give up my guns JUST because of shit like this! I carry a gun because a police officer is too heavy!

@JustSayNoToGuns Dude, there will ALWAYS be a way to obtain a gun. No matter what laws you enact, no matter how many registrations are collected, criminals will always get guns. A simple background check and a permit should be all that is needed.

first off this person having a saw off shotgun is illegal unless fro some reason he had an ffl and class three. Next you coud posible tell the vic's that if the would of been careing. There is only one state that has a law agast right to carry but a few other ones are just a bitch to do it in. An if the mall was a gun free zone well that gun free zone worked really well

The world is a dangerous place deal with it ,gun control only disarms honest citizens, one man with a .38 could end a active shooter. as for police I have great respect but I have more training, more range time, with over 2000 gun laws on the books what makes you think one more will work?

I was not talking about jail. I was more aiming at a mental hospital. And I am wondering, do you think it's natural that a human kills another?
