well, if you're depending on your sword to be sharp through a battle, I really have a hard time seeing your freestyle doing the job.. ;D have you seen the Russian group Silverwolf? They have, I believe, the most authentic fightsystem (including huscarl)

Its freestyle. Not pretty, but We think this way is more accurate, with the prowess of the fighters varying. Not everyone who steps onto a battlefield will fight the same way everytime. Were working on it........
