New Ubuntu 10.04 splash and shut down screen. (updated 13.03.10)

Wonderful. This is the new splash and shut down screen from Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3, updated 13.03.10. Unfortunately, I succeed to took only a few second of the new splash screen. This is the official splash screen that will be in the final release. Enjoy it.

The boot time is about 30 seconds. With Ubuntu 9.10 how much time takes the boot?

@iceDragonEyes yep, the boot time is about 30 seconds. On 9.10 I think I've got about 15 seconds (maximum 20). It depends very much on the platform you're booting it on.

This is an unstable release, so the boot time in the final release will be for sure much better.

Ubuntu community says they're going to make Ubuntu 10.04 in the final release to boot at a time under 10 seconds. This is their target, and I'm sure they will reach it.

@pixelr0 yes, SSDs are faster than older HDDs. The boot time is definitely better on SSDs.

Hey amigo, tengo un problema... instalo el ubuntu, como sistema operativo unico en mi pc... la cosa es que, cuando quiero acceder a internet, me dice que no encuentra la pagina... bien, el caso es que no puedo acceder a nigun sitio web... intente instalar una version anterior, pero no!... sigue igual... que puedo hacer?... espero su respuesta!

Mais isso depende da máquina também, fora que está em faze beta, o tempo da versão Beta, RC, e final são muito diferentes.

Por que lerdo. Olha se por acaso quando você estava vendo o vídeo e notou que o ubuntu demorou 5 minutos pra ligar, não é o ubuntu não que é lerdo, é seu Windows que travou no meio do vídeo.

De Ctrl + Alt +Del e mate todos os processos, ok?!
