People want to profit. In capitalism, the more you sell or provide service, the more profit you make. This creates competition between two or more bodies competing for profit within the same industry. To sell more, the groups try to make better products at cheaper prices. This is why we need capitalism. If money is taken away from people who earn it (like in socialism and communism), that takes away the incentive to work, which takes away competition, which makes the economy go bad.

1:00 Those numbers are accurate, but misleading. They don't consider inflation since the Clinton era, and they don't consider the growth of GDP. You should show government spending as a percentage of GDP to give a clearer perspective.

Ok a 60 minutes showed how many Corporations actually paid the 40% you talked about and that came to less then 10 nation wide. You seem to gobble up the propaganda pretty fast.

The Banks are sitting on over a TRILLION right now and have done nothing with it.

Corporations post highest profits in history and have done little but give CEO a huge pay raise or invested in offshore jobs or slave labor.

Government spending is not what is wrong with the Economy. The Trillion being sat on by the Rich not being invested into financing the USA instead of financing Foreign investment.

Cutting Infrastructure will not be a solution but decline of the USA.
