In this hour-long Q & A session at the India SearchMasters conference, Adam Lasnik, Google's Search Evangelist, answers several webmaster questions.
00:18 - Video Sitemaps
02:56 - Keyword Density
04:30 - Meta & Title Tags
07:51, 28:42 - Crawling and Indexing
10:14, 48:56 - Duplicate Content
14:07 - Geolocation
20:15 - Canonicalization
31:58, 45:20 - Quality Links
35:37 - Best Practices when Moving Your Site
40:06 - Validation and Microformats
Interesting that Google do not care about validation. So when mobile devices become used almost exclusively by the majority of the population. Table driven websites are not going to render as well as XHTML / CSS driven websites.
I would have thought as a consequence the table driven websites bounce rate is going to increase dramatically. This will surely damage page rank and hence search result positions.
Better to use "nice" XHTL and CSS then? It is not to do hard just different..

they definitely didn't read even just the most basic stuff on Webmaster Central; it's like a classroom of student who didn't do the homework, so they spend the entire class asking what the reading said. the real useful questions are asked in this channel's playlist titled "Grab Bag"--go watch THOSE.

So basically all those webmasters in India who asked Adam questions didn't read everything on Google Webmaster Central? They were asking questions and it would be nice to read all that and Adam's answers.

I just watched the whole video and I can tell you that if you use Google Webmaster Central, every single thing he says is there. The main advice is to have high-quality original content, and to give and attract legitimate links.
