Last year we went to a Polo competition in Middelbeers (The Netherlands). I had never seen this part of the horse sport in real life! It's a very fast sport. There are special breeding horses for the polo. They are bred with thoroughbreds, Argentine ponies and sometimes with the American Quarter Horse. Thoroughbreds and Argentine ponies are for the big endurance. American Quarter Horses are for the fast reaction speed and for the fast turns that the can make. By Polo are the most horses mares.

@fleurbartels Kiezen ze liever geen van beide.. Deze sport is super zwaar voor die beesten en als je goed kijkt zie je dat ze bijna constant in de mond worden getrokken..

Foul as in a penalty, so yes it is "breaking a rule" If you watch it looks like a player rides right into number 1's arm, I am not an umpire but I guess it could be considered dangerous riding and also number 1 is in the way of the Line Of The Ball. I have noticed with field polo there seems to be a lot of fouls made at the throw in! Kinda funny, they stop before they even start.
