incorporating, of course, the naughty bits, which were EXTREMELY naughty for this time

This comment contains material which some people might find offensive, but which is really smashing.

I just went, a few days ago, to a Bavarian castle, to watch an orchestra play some Beethoven and Tschaikowsky. I'm sorry, but I can't even think of his name without thinking of this skit! "Tschaikowsky, was he the tortured soul who poured out his immortal longings into dignified passages of stately music, or was he just an old poof who wrote tunes?" A few times, while listening to the concert, I cracked up just thinking about it. Classic!

@chrisblairt - agreed! Just walked home feeling really shitty after a crap day at work and all the others enjoying the coming of new year's eve when this sketch pops into mind and I lough out loudly - saved by the immortal silliness of the Pythons

This is a FAKE democracy if we don't even have a Little Green Bits of Cucumber Diced With Shallots, Garnished with Chives and Served with a Roquefort Dressing Makes for an Excellent Appetiser or Side Dish with a Steak or a Stew Marketing Board.
I demand reparations.
…or was he some old poof who wrote tunes?
It's my favourite line.
