Taking a run in our first due engine after a sunday morning truck inspection. This engine is a 2000 ALF/3D commercial pumper, freightliner FL80 chassis with 1250gpm pump, and 1250 gal. tank. Engine is a 330 Cummins, and a Fuller seven speed transmission makes her go. This engine was built to our specs in 1999, and we took delivery in 2000. Hope you all enjoy the ride.

  • How old is your truck that it has a manual shift?

  • @FDMedic78 Its a 2000 freightliner. It was ordered with a manual (7 speed Eaton Fuller Roadranger) transmission. Back then the dept. didn't want just anybody jumping in and taking off to a fire with it. Now, we train anybody that want's to know how to drive, and operate the pump, and encourage everyone else in the dept. to learn to. Our new tanker however is an automatic, as is our rescue. Thanks for commenting!

  • Well done buddy. Just make sure the next one has that sweet que I found in the attic!!

  • @revman58 Soon as we get a run, and I remember to grab the camera. Later.
