:) looks just like my sheltie Archie when he was a puppy, i don't know why everyone complains about grooming my dog never gets mats, doesn't shed as much as my short haired taby cat, and i like never have to brush him.

@R0b0tPandaMon i had a sheltie never shed once when I brushed him tons of hair came off with the brush but never found hair on the floor or furniture

Shelties are by far the best dogs ever. <3 Pros: They are extremely smart, loving, playful, sweet, and friendly (if you socialize them). Cons: They are herding dogs, so they do bark and nip at your heels quite a bit. They take AT LEAST weekly grooming. (Brushing, clipping their nails, etc.)
Other: Make sure you get one from a reputable breeder and when you visit, watch how the mother behaves. Dogs often mimic their mother.

I hope your sheltie lives a long and happy life unlike my Tre. He was only 5 years old and I had him for 4 months.
