The series profiles the extraordinary stories about people who have died and returned to tell strange and unusual stories about their death experiences. Some see their lives in review, some travel to other realms... all are left with a belief there is some sort of life after death. Testimonies of medical personnel and family members who were present at the moment of death verify the authenticity of these people's unbelievable stories.

It takes so much more faith to believe that every human existence is utterly and ultimately meaningless, that our lives and our behavior mean absolutely nothing beyond the second of physical death. I do not have that much faith. I think our atheist friends (most of whom on their deathbed will say "Oh God") are in for a shock after they take their last breath.

I love this show BUT I HATE HOW THEY JERK YOU OUT OF ONE STORY AND JUMP INTO ANOTHER. JUST AS I'M REALLY GRIPPED BY AND INTERESTED IN ONE OF THE STORIES THEY JUMP RIGHT INTO ANOTHER COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION THIS IS AN IMMENSELY ANNOYING WAY TO TELL THESE INCREDIBLE STORIES. ONE AT A TIME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

@hegemoniuspiper i understand your point but to someone like me it almost funny. like the atheist scientist who died and now KNOWS how silly that view is . as if someone WANTS to believe it bad enough they just start to hallucinate , i can tell im perfectly sane and above average IQ , what i experienced was not what i expected so i didnt created it in my mind , but i better do a pM not enough room here

@AlienUFOEncounters i would like to know how much it depends on ur psychology. How much depends on what u want to believe and how much is somehow physical? Can u tell more about ur experience

@hegemoniuspiper uh no i just watch 4 accounts and they all spoke of the same things , things i myself experienced , only i didnt die , but was visited by a being of light , we dont die only the body does

what should be considered is the fact that these after life experiences differ substancially one to another, so there's much subjectivity involved
