I rented this movie when it first came out on dvd, (and availible to rent) and I loved it so much! So when I heard that Christian Bale was going to be batman, due to his awsome acting I went and saw it in the thearter. So this year I am going to see terminator salvation. Great move Equilibrium.

yea the actions great but there is some truly beautiful scenes in this movie.

Like the one were preston first sees a sunrise while being able to feel.

I was disappointed that this movie came 3 years after Matrix. It definitely borrowed heavily from the Matrix. It even has it's own lobby shooting scene. The costumes are clearly similar - down to the hair style. Bale even sounds like Reeves in many scenes. In the end, I didn't care much for it because of the crappy ending. They kept the most powerful man in the world in the NEXT room knowing the assassin they JUST captured is able to kill dozens of officers without batting an eye!! come on

i dont understand why so many people compare this movie to the matrix, i watched equilibrium yesterday and i watched the matrix like 10 times before and they are nothing a like...
