The soundtrack of the video above is part of the music composed for my diplomatic major project for Kingston University. The music was written during the course of June to September 2011. The creator of this video is Ken McHardie, a British film maker with whom I had a really friendly and constructive communication via internet. The video follows San-Bao a German who abandoned his Western life for an alternative way of living. During this short documentary, which's the main topic is the ritual preparation of Ou-Long tea, San-Bao is also demonstrating his occupation with Chi-Kung (management of inner energy). Furthermore, he is criticising the modern western lifestyle. The music I composed, is based on the traditional chinese music. It should be made absolutely clear however, that the music composition based on Chinese traditional music, but in no way tries to imitate the authentic Chinese sound, which would be totally impossible for a non-Chinese musician.
