Asians in the Library - UCLA Student Rant Against Asians Cartoon

UCLA student, Alexandra Wallace, posted a video on YouTube bashing Asians in a hateful tirade that happened to coincide with the terrible earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011.

This video takes the entire transcript of her monologue, breaks it down and changes it into a dialogue between two cute furry creatures. The white animal to the left represents Ms. Wallace and the tan animal to the right represents any other sane person listening to this rant.

@ambidextrality sorry you didn't get it. the only intentional insult i gave is when she made her "ching chong" reference. i do not claim Asians to be a "model minority". i'm well aware that there are good & bad in EVERY grouping of people out there. i totally agree that people on cell phones in inappropriate places is annoying, but i believe it wrong for her to target & generalize one group. it's unfortunate your comments present you to be just as closed minded and racist as Ms Wallace. :(

Ad hominem doesn't have to be a smear, it just has to suggest that an argument or position is invalid because of a label, such as racist, or republican. Of course you think that, you're Asian. @o0ohahahao0o An ad hominem is simply a label without reason. I know what I'm talking about. The rant was that Asians were being rude. that's what the argument was about. Over scrutinizing every last word and insulting her is slothful inducting and ad hominem. She described nuisance behaviour of Asians. Asians are too proud to acknowledge that's even remotely possible. So they attack and change the subject to how stupid and "racist" she was. etc.

Without the English or other European languages, the Asians are stuck in their holes forever more. The term "American college student(s)" is an inclusive term to include everybody who consider themselves American by birth or naturalization. So this means they're more than capable in other languages. U fail

@KCAASE LMAO @ this post. Uh, the one's that can't speak English as well are INTERNATIONAL students. Still their English as a second (maybe third) language is FAR better than most native Americans'. Hell, some don't even SPEAK another language. Asian-AMERICANS are statistically FAR more proficient in English than their counterparts. Can you imagine the average American college student ordering food in another country? Yeah.

Most people abuse freedom of speech anyway, what she said was no way anything to bitch about unless you believe it to be true or it was a personal attack on the individual family. I'm sorry "hordes of Asians" but I don't see what you do to other races being anything different.
