Poncha - The local drink

I know Madeira wine is the local drink but everyone goes on about Poncha - this is how we found it and how it is made. :)

Thank you, I would dearly love to come back, I want to do some more of the Levadas!  I would also stay in the same place given the chance as I liked it so much. :) If we do make it, I will certainly contact you, thank you for your kind offer. I find this typical of the people of Madeira and especially Porto da Cruz. :)

I've a Poncho also, but mines made of wool and cashmere...found the honey one slightly sticky as it warmed up ;-)
