Bat For Lashes. I'm On Fire (live). This is a cover of a Bruce Springsteen song, and the video features the late French actress Francoise Dorleac, whose early death in 1967 at age 25 most certainly robbed the cinema of a talent who showed every sign of taking Hollywood by storm, as her sister Catherine (Deneuve) later did.

@sideburnstijger Sorry, I apologise, I did not mean to give offence or anything .... I was aware that Françoise Dorléac had died but did not know that she had burned alive in a car crash. Therefore the song title / lyrics are simply coincidental, and the "I'm on fire" is meant as a metaphor rather than the literal meaning that you have taken it as .... nevertheless if you feel strongly about it, I'll remove the video ... let me know! Wonderful cover of this song - loved it ! Very nice with the slo-mo clips of that poor young actress, too.

@grizzlyten @kate4ever1 @floridaoj1 Yes, I think it's very difficult, because he stamps his own masculine style on it, to cover a Springsteen song successfully, only a few people, and strangely enough women, seem to do it well. I'm thinking Patti Smith (Because The Night), The Pointer Sisters (Fire), Heather Nova (I'm On Fire), Deana Carter (State Trooper), Trisha Yearwood (Sad Eyes) and now our very own Natasha Khan.
