  • Mentzer not very strong? According to many who knew him he was very strong.

  • Mike Mentzer was lifting the whole stack on most of the nautilus machines at one point, lifting it slowly and controlled. That is awesome strength.

  • he is 70 there

  • I think just about everyone in the world of strength sports is deceived. Weider still dominates bb training and exercise physiology is dominated by "Doctor Kramer" and his disciples. People are religiously committed to following HVT nonsense, just like people who think the Earth is 5000 years old. If you honestly search for the most efficient and effective routine, you will come up with something like HIT. IMHO rest-pause is the best system, but it is too hard for most trainees.

  • howdid it almsot kill him?

  • you truely are dumb...in life you do everything to succedd but in the gym you go to fail.

  • rip mr jones

  • casey still is, he still benches 500

  • HIT works if its done correctly. However most people are willing to train that hard, that short or that infrequent or all of the above. i train each bodypart once a month doing ALL movements unilateraley so as to push each muscle to abslolute failure with negatives..each workout i am up 6-7 reps. natural and not at all genetically gifted

  • HIT trainig FOREVER!!!
