If he had a high flush draw on the flop he's going to bet especially if he was the preflop raiser. It's more about how the amateur was betting, as well as acting like he had a strong hand which is a tell of an actually weak hand. It's all about hand history as well though.

if was drawing for a flush on the flop hes probably not going to bet , if he hit the flush that he was trying to represent on the turn he probably wouldnt of bet so he could get more value for his hand and if hes still trying to represent the flush on the river hes not going to bet that much ----- basically thats why i think he called + he probably also had some hand history with him

All of you guys are geniuses. They don't show what happened previously. Maybe Winston made a bad play earlier. It's a little over the top reaction, but how would you feel if you made that call, with millions at stake.
I play cash games and called a pretty sizable bet with an Ace high, no pair. I bet all the way, till the river and checked, he bet, and I called his bet with Ace high. Why I called, because he donkey'ed me earlier hitting runner runner for a straight. That move shut the table up.
