I only played half life 2, and I want to know why those aliens are good now, what the fuck is up with city 17 (what happened, where is it, what are they doing), who is the "g-man" who is he working for. it seems like all that should be obvious or something, cause no-one in the game is talking about it. is there a story behind the shallow story which is the game??

@Gonken88 no everything is really all in the games,hl1.hl1 opposing force,hl1 blue shift,hl2,hl2 ep1,hl ep2 and there was that little game mod thing to do missions for gman in the counter strike game called redemption,i cant say if it was official but it was the same voice actor for gman so i guess it was.knowing all the story from those games gives you some hints about the events but its still all unclear about gman,maybe hl2 ep3 will bring the light
