The bill isn't forcing women to use birth control. But it IS forcing people (who don't believe in birth control) to help pay for it. This includes secular AND religious organizations. Organizations run by religious groups or secular employers who disagree with it are not exempt.

Birth control is not expensive; but also, not a right. I totally agree in helping with PREVENTATIVE services (mammograms, pap smears, etc.). They prevent disease. Pregnancy is not a disease.

We are tired of those who oppose our moral values and religious freedom saying they speak for us. We love our families and want our children to be raised in a nation where their freedom of religion and free speech are respected. If we fail to protect this freedom, we are failing the future generations of Americans.

Multi-Pony, You are the bigot! If you wish to abort, contracept, and sterilize yourself out of existance, no one is stopping you! We just do not wish to forced to pay for it, since we believe that such actions are intrinscily evil. The HHS Mandate forces employers to pay for health care insurance that covers actions that these employers considor to be intrinsicly evil. As a faithful Catholic employer, I have joined with those sueing the Feds over the HHS mandate.

This "modern feminist" movement makes all women look bad. These women are trying to say "we are strong, empowered, and have a distinct dignity just like every man". Their method is begging a male president and male politicians to give them free stuff. By demanding to receive birth control handouts, women become nothing more than sex toys that can be disposed of afterward. Part of the genius of women is our maternity and fertility. To take that away is to reduce womanhood to a cheap tool for sex.

dont know off hand who that author is but from what it sounds like he created the term new atheist and manipulated it to suit his writings. he sounds like he doesnt know what an atheist actually is Theism=belief in god(s), Atheism=lack of belief in god(s). And the frustration expressed towards Christians is mostly due to our location. If we were in the middle east we would voice objection primarily to Islam, in India the objection would be to Hinduism
