Caatinga (H.sellowi) and Bahia Antwrens
(H.pileatus) are different species; Bahia found along the coastal strip in the state of Bahia, whereas the Caatinga is in dry forests and caatinga inland in NE Brasil. The population of H.sellowi which the bird Alex has filmed is disjunct in campos rupestres (drier rocky areas) within the eastern Amazon, perhaps an entirely separate species.
Too bad you didn't get footage of the manakin Alex. Would have been the best thing since naked ladies on the net.

Herpsilochmus sellowi - see Bret M. Whitney, José Fernando Pacheco, Dante R. C. Buzzetti & Ricardo Parrini, in "Systematic revision and biogeography of the Herpsilochmus pileatus complex, with description of a new species from northeastern Brazil", The Auk 117, 4 (2000): 869-891.
