Sandwich: The Motion Picture

This is a short film that I created during one of my film classes at the University of North Texas in 2000.

In this oft-requested adventure-comedy film, the story chronicles the adventures of Montana Jackson in his epic quest to complete a sandwich found only in the refrigerator dimension.

This film was inspired by such films as Indiana Jones, Evil Dead, and Kentucky Fried Movie.

The filming cost for it less than $10. I was a poor college student and made due with what I had around my apartment. It was shot on location in Denton, TX, and a creekbed in Oklahoma behind an adult video store (hey, the outdoor location worked).

A little bit of trivia for those who have been wondering about what Montana Jackson said after the native encounter:

In the script, he said "What the funk". I know a few people thought he said something a little more saucy, but nope, that was one of our old catch phrases from back in the day, so shame on you people for thinking he said something worse, you dirty, dirty minds, you.
