@PriestOfUhrrfass What? Did I leave the blinds open?
-
You know, in the first installments of the interviews with Scott Miller, I thought "He seems to have trouble articulating himself..."
Now, though, I'm getting the impression that he's simply very thoughtful of his replies and is trying to formulate the best, most concise response.
It also seems you can tell which topics intrigue him more... He seems a lot more into talking about the topics in this vid than he did in previous ones.
Or maybe that's just me :-p.

@Spirrwell if immortality isnt around in my lifetime, at least i can hope for the day pancreas transplants will become real, or at least get mine working again >_>
-
@Hippyjonnycomics well, at least by then some of us who are alive today by that point will be huge collectors of old gaming stuff. i imagine that there will always be a great deal of people not only interested in the history of gaming, but also keeping it alive in some form

if you really want to have a chance.
1. find the immortality yourself
2. have a base off earth until earth has calmed down about immortality
-
If I can't have immortality I don't want someone else to get it
-
@xoChrisiskingox It won't happen.

Oh and I'm not a huge fan of his, and other people's, ideas of all games becoming a digital download to just one single TV/output device. What the hell am I gonna fill my house up with? I suppose all the people that ain't dying can move in eh?

Immortal by 2045?!? What, are we gonna get a biologically installed app like console cammands and we just enter 'enable god mode'? Dibs on the BFG 9000! Scott's clearly a smart man and I love his work but thats just nonsense. Its 2011 and we still have no way to cure AIDs and most people with severe or advanced forms of Cancer can't be saved, even with transplants. Its not impossible, just look at Chuck Norris, but very, VERY unlikly that the rest of us will be immortal by 2045.

Scott millers 3rd generation concept of games playing simply on a display device sounds really cool. Id miss the hard copy of the game tho!

Scott Miller is Mr Personality isn't he ;) It's like talking to an arrogant piece of dead wood.

@TheSyrupCompany Assuming the world keeps going at the consistent rate it has always gone with technology and such, it could be more than that if you go with Moore's law saying that the number of transistors on a computer chip doubles every year, at one time technology will take a HUGE leap forward in its evolution, which in turn could make for better medical tools, and possibly AI platforms used for diagnosing and research.
Didn't know that really big steaks were considered healthy food.

@tearsofkorah I guess he's talking about the protein content. I haven't really studied his system in detail, but I know he's anti-grain and skeptical of a lot of popular supplements and marketing claims. That's why I wanted to know what he was having for dinner--genuinely curious!
