  • I was sitting right below the scoreboard. It was hard to believe that Michigan had almost 350 yards rushing, yet they still almost lost the game.

  • BTW, Ball State is undefeated now. They could be the BCS buster.

  • It was only so close because Lloyd Carr brought in the entire second string offense and defense in the third quarter after going up 31-12. What he should have done is pulled some starters, slowly pulled more, and then only cleared the bench with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. This game was a little bit like the 1994 Penn State vs Indiana game, looked close at 35-29, truth is, Indiana was getting wiped. Difference is, Michigan had to put in the first string defense at the end.

  • Go Ball State--they were only the preview of appalachian state. No gives a shit about playing in the big house lol!! Anyone can win there. Group michigan in with the other pretenders such as notre dame...they are the past.....

  • This is a perfect example of "not as close as the score". Michigan was leading 31-12 and was never in danger of losing, but brought in the reserves too early. Had Michigan kept the first stringers in, they'd have likely finished 45-15 or something like that. It wasn't close like the Penn State game (neither team could move the ball against each other's defense, it was mostly a battle of the two punters). Michigan brought the first stringers back in once it got out of hand at 34-26.

  • I live in Muncie. I'm across the street from Ball State Stadium. I was at that game, and that was one of the greatest games I've ever seen. I'm proud of the Cardinals for getting that close, considering we were supposed to be slaughtered. Nice game Michigan, but any Michigan fan has to admit they saw pass interference on that last play in the endzone (The one before Nate's lob at the end). I don't care what you say, so I'm not getting into arguments over the internet with you.

  • i was at this game.. there was this huge guy cheerleader that this drunk dude kept calling nacho libre lol... shitty game for the wolverines but a win is a win

  • Another thing, I only have this burst of outrage because you have no right to bash on my school when I never ranted about Ball State. I go here because of my major--Journalism. If Michigan didn't cost $28,000 for out of state tuition, then yeah I'd consider that school. However, Muncie, IN is close to home. I'm only defending my school, man. I would never be jealous of Michigan. Never.

  • No, again I never said "all." I am well aware of Michigan's academics. Michigan is one of the best schools for Engineering and other Depts. I know you have to have at least an 1800 on the new 3 section SATs. A buddy of mine is going to play there next year (Artis Chambers) and I know he is bright in the classroom, so don't misread my comments because I know Michigan is a "Public Ivy" school. Don't get me wrong there.

  • If you're 26, then maybe your English skills should be better than what I'm reading from you. "Your"? Try "you're." Fuckwad. Michigan has 11 National Championships in football, they had the Fab 5, and a dumbass who called timeout when there was none left. Tom Brady is the only good thing to come out of Michigan. I at least have respect for that man.
