March 14, 2011 - One of the chief concerns in Japan right now is the threat of a nuclear meltdown. The nuclear power industry had almost lived down previous disasters like Chernobyl and Three Mile Island. But last Friday's earthquake and subsequent tsunami has once again given the world reason to question and fear the power of the atom. Jared is joined by Jim Walsh of MIT's Security Studies Program, UMass Lowell nuclear engineering professor Gilbert Brown, and Boston College geophysics professor Alan Kafka.
