Radiology and ACOs

Dr. Tim Myers talks about how vRad can help radiology groups and hospitals with accountable care organizations (ACOs). He says the ACO process is meaningful accountable care because the electronic health record and electronic medical record requirements, clinical decision support, and health IT requirements of Meaningful Use have to be in place. Clinicians need to have all of the information needed at the time of care. vRad can help make radiology images available and provide the needed 30-40 minute turnaround times that are required, helping radiology practices and hospitals meet ACO requirements.
