Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate using Red Giant Trapcode Efx

This is NOT a complete project nor is this the final soundtrack that will be used and here for ONLY educational purposes!

Put this together in a few hours... Painful hours... Crashes and etc.

Wanted to show what type of different effects are possible in the FREE add-ons with Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate. Kinda cool but very difficult to work with (Adobe After Affects it is NOT). Had several crashes and tried one Particle effect that should of really taxed my cpu, but... NO...

Not sure if the software really uses all the CPU processing it has available. I have a brand new SONY VPCF126FM laptop with a NVIDIDA video card and running on a intel i7 core processer. The 1080p/30 mpeg2 rendering ran for 9.5 hours and I finally had to stop the rendering. While it was rendering, my processor(s) was running very low.

Ok, so I have LOTS of questions for Pinnacle but here are a few of the effects I put together for your viewing pleasure using this very inexpensive video non-linear software.

Despite the work-arounds I am still impressed with this little program that I bought for $150.00 to just transfer some of my old family VHS or SVHS to digital. I will have more to share on this later.

Hello Everyone,

Sorry, I'm late in response to some of the questions below but all the effects were done using the red giant plugins. Usually two or three of them. Just experiment until you get the look you like. Sometime when I get a chance I will do a couple tutorial on different looks and workarounds on the Studio system. Just gotta find a few free minutes.

Yes they came with the Studio 14hd and AVID Studio that just came out.

I make all my music vids with Pinnacle Ultimate Studio 14 HD. If u'd like to see what the program is capable of, please check out my channel. I push it to its limits, and I'm pre happy with what I'm getting from it.

Very nice. I use Studio 12 - with no crashes I may add. I have just ordered Avid Studio 1, which comes with extended versions of all the Studio 15 Ultimate plug ins. The infinite number of tracks appealed to me. Looking forward to being able to produce the same sort of work. What music did you use? Sounds too good to be Royalty free. I used copyright music under "fair use for educational purposes" and YouTube muted it. Pointless using Y.T music as the Project was about timing slides 2 music
