THIS IS A SAD SONG BUT BEAUTIFUL AT THE SAME TIME, EXELENT MOVIE

@led4acs ---It is tame and without horror....But it's just a CLASSIC! The book is excellent, too! The movie is very much like the book....

Robert Evans (the producer) referred to the film as 'the horror film without any horror'. I watched it the other day and found it rather tame (especially compared to the Exorcist only a few years later). I did like it's sense of foreboding and the way the story gradually unfolds, something an audience today would have little patience for. And there is something about the way Farrow's character is willing to rock the baby to sleep at the end of the film that is rather chilling.

its a sad song
Truly haunting - a lullaby laced with a sense of the sinister, from what has to be the best horror film of all time. If Mia Farrow is remembered for this film only, it will be a great testament to her.
