@nwilson321 Ligenfelter built a Z06 in 2002 before he died that has yet to be beatn so what the hell r u talking about....0-60 1.97 sec 1/4 in the high 8s@ 155 ..dont act like an idiot...no car aftermarket that has been tested in a mag and is mass produced matches those numbers.soo get outa here with that ford GT crap..yeah cool car great racing history ..but give me a break

@drummerdude777 the corvette has been around since the 60's. not only that the Ford GT was the only car Ford built to compete with supercars, which it was the fastest american car until 2009. The ZR1 is barley faster which is sad because of its 88HP over the ford as well as lighter weight. However everyone knows who owns the WORLD RECORD standing mile speed at 268 MPH! Ford GT= Best American Car Ever! (even the British agree just ask Jeremy Clarkson)

@nwilson321 corvettes have gotten past 1000hp long before ford ever did. not to mention the gt1000 isnt even a ford product, just an aftermarket company putting parts on look at lingenfelter, 1000hp vettes left right and center. stock to stock the zr1 out performs the gt in everyway. the nice part of the zr1, you still get A/C and you have a trunk, and it costs about $50,000 less. ford is always lacking in the performance department, and this is no different

@nwilson321 yup the GTX1 is fast but for 48,000 after you buy the GT with a msrp of $149,995 (and I work at sunrise ford and have never seen one that cheap) for that kinda money Id but a S7 or a ZR1 work it, and still have enough left over to hire Jessica Alba as my personal ball washer...lol just my .02 I dont have the money to put gas in any of these car's
