man...you were so close going to the Final round...but their are only 12 spots in the Final round and you were 17th in the preliminary round.

incorrect. of the 82 soloist, they were divided into two groups of 41 (called pools). Only top 6 from each pool made it to teh Final round, and I got 9th in my pool. Three spots away.
