That female vocalist was Stevie Lange who was married to Mutt Lange at the time. Mutt married Shania Twain, divorced her and maybe he and Stevie will get together again. Stevie went on to produce and teach voice. Fabulous singer, yes!

Always loved this song - I saw them in the late '70s in Chicago - originally sung by a group called "Night" with an incredible female vocalist.
