@thelleht - ARAnyM isn't a hardware-based emulator, though, and only runs "well-behaved" programs (i.e. ones that don't try to directly access the hardware much) for the most part. Hatari's emualtion is actually supposed to mimic the original hardware as close as possible, but stiill is incomplete for TT/Falcon, though runs more basic Falcon demos pretty well.

The problem most Amiga users (to which I also belong) is that they can not differentiate between the Atari ST and the Falcon. The Atari ST is one piece of cheap, uninspired hardware for me, with horrible sound. The Amiga 500 easily blows it away, being one of the most advanced home computers for its time. The Falcon, however, is a very nice machine, lots of custom hardware to play with. It's a much more advanced machine than the A1200. The AGA chipset has always been a bit disappointing to me.

All the amiga & ST machines were ace for their time.

Haha, it's quiet funny actually.
It's easy to make fools out of these sorts. He's even sent me a PM trying to convince me he ISN'T Chiptastic2003. It's so blatantly obvious that it is, it's pathetic. It's like me putting on a pair of glasses and telling everyone I'm someone else. You can still tell it's me!
