09.08.08- 2nd Alarm, 216 Chestnut St. Allentown

At 22:25 Allentown transmitted a box for 2nd & Chestnut Sts. with an address of fire located at 216 Chestnut St with possible entrapment and multiple calls.

Engine 6 first due reported a working fire and Battalion 1 (Shott) transmitted a 2nd Alarm on arrival after reporting heavy fire from the second floor of a two story - 2nd in from E.O.R. vacant.

One handline from 6 was stretched and a quick knock down of the fire prevented any horizontal extension.

1st Alarm: Engines 6,9,4, truck 2 and Battalion 1.

2nd Alarm: Engines 14, 13 and Air 1.
