This is also a characteristic of early Bach performances on the Organ. Some of them (particularly early 60s and early 1970s are marked by an incredibly slow pace whilst it was said of Bach that he could play faster with his feet than most organists could with their hands! It's unlikely that this is the pace Bach intended.

It's wat too slow. Koopman or Herreweghe's tempi are usually better (I am not suggesing they are-or should be- the benchmark though but if you look at recent (and not so recent) Bach scholarship, it has become absolutely evident that the tempi Bach employed were faster than this.

To me this Cantata is the finest Bach ever wrote. I think the tempo on this example is a little slow though.

you err... "brich" is correct, i.e. "share (lit. break) your bread with the hungry"
