@SALLY19751000 Ha ha,i'm sure there are plenty of people out there who love's you Sally as your a nice girl,as for the "Dado Rail" if the wood is splitting then i guess your using a hammer & nails lol,what you want to use is some stuff called "No more nails" which is a paste/glue stuff and it's well good for putting up "Dado Rails" and it's only a couple of pounds to buy,you can buy some at "Wickes" that's where i go,you sound like your really going for it with your decorating,good for you.
