  • Well the riffs themselves sound a lot like the riffs used in math rock. YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYINNN. But seriously, its that jazzy weird reversed riff with a little reverb in it that makes it sound "math"ish.

  • 5 beats to the bar, repeated over and over. There's nothing wrong with that, and i like it! I'd lean more towards math being a genre which attempts to add extra beats to bars, removing beats from other bars, and generally switching in and out of different time sigs. I'm not sure that everything which is not in 4/4 should be lumped in with Math.

Meh -its all opinions anyway. (Wow-i'm so crazy and post modern.)

  • how come, whats the time signature

  • Not a criticism of the music, but this is not Mathy at all.

  • plus...why Math? just because of the poly rythms?

  • yeah it's got a little of everything, don't know why they call it noise though... it's got the punk idea but not exactly noise

  • I like it! Sounds a lot like Shellac meets the Jesus Lizard.
