Everyone bigs up Damon.....I don't disagree but it is Coxon's guitar that slings this song from corner of the room to central stage - love the Boss Vibrato & ProCo Rat pedals on this song but more so the out of tune (yet in tune) trademark solo. Oh and while I'm at it I think Coxon's backing singing IS the Blur sound.

im hearing too much 2D in there

i knew about gorillaz before blur

and 2D sing very high sometimes and it wasnt in my mind (when i discover blur) that damon could sing so high so...

now, it could be a stupid thought, but im afraid to break the magical of gorillaz

anyway, damon is a genius. blur is incredible. gorillaz too.

Man, we all know Graham is a fucking hero. Actually, more than Damon's voice, I think what really makes the Blur sound is Graham's falsetto back singing. And his playing style is pretty unmistakable.
