The 25k balance to day trade.. in order to engage in pattern day trading the trader must maintain an equity balance of at least $25,000 in a margin account. It is important to note that this requirement is only for day traders using a margin account.[7] ... is that right?? If I don't have a margins account.. I don't have to worry about the 25k?
