The first time when I played at this game...

Wow brings back my first death against the one thing i thought i could beat early...That stupid saurus that kept on eating wolves! Also reminds me of the times just running around just trying to get that stupid gator to come up to get bazaar materials for tha traveler's vestment. Good times!! Good times. :)

It kind of annoys me to see debates over which FF is the best or worst. The one thing common about the games is the title. Each one is different in terms of plot, characters, music, battle mechanics. I personally judge the games based on how good the story/characters is/are, and whether I would replay the game again for that. I bet that for most people, their favourite is the first one they played (FF7?). I don't care what others think, but FF12 is a truly beautiful game, better than even FF7.

@TheCyberChimp ...You've got a few great points there. Still, trust me when I say I know all about "respecting people for thier opinions" because I'm full of them myself.

I just so happen to dislike FF9 despite it being so popular; and even major companies use Metacritic to see how thier products are faring ( Such as Sega, but, er, we won't get into that). The whole point of that little rant was to get folks to respect FF titles for what they are based on proven merit.

@TheHikariOne Well, I see FF X-2 and XIII are to 2 biggest offenders on THAT list.  But that list in't my list, nor is it most peoples list. You cant just pull numbers from a reputable reviewing website and show them as fact. How good a game is will always be the players opinion, and if certain players don't like any of the FF after FF X then so be it, they are entitled to that opinion weather it pisses you off or not.

i loved this game. i havent played in soo long, i remember i had the super spear, haste and the rage goin on and was killing EVERYTHING so fast lol. i dont remember why i didnt finish killing all of the "wanted' monsters =/ i should play again =D

Well that does it... I am replaying FF 12 instead of replaying Star Ocean.
