I wonder if the first part couldn't be shown on here because when Waris is an advocate against genital mutilation. I remember being very little in 1997 & hearing her give an interview about how she suffered female circumcision (I think with a sharp stone & no expert surgeon in a primitive village). She said as she came to realise women did NOT suffer this everywhere she got angry it happened just to her & a minority. She wanted to enjoy sex but knew it to be impossible forever plus pain/risk
