The trailer didn't do the movie justice at all. The movie was not a screwball comedy it had a lot of heart and drama. The Martin and Moranis fans were probably to disapointed to realize that they were actually watching a pretty good, well acted movie.

Just wonderful, dramatic & touching at times but very funny & entertaining movie. Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen, Dianne Wiest, Jason Robards did a great job, the whole cast was impressive. Comedy films of the 80's and 90's were so cool and always brought a good moral message. Our modern comedies are mostly about sex and vulgar lifestyle.

I remember the first TV version of this movie. Leonardo DiCaprio and David Arquette were in it. I think both of the TV shows suck. The latest one is truly insufferable.
