I dont understand. He's satisfied with being able to run cs 1.6 on an 880gts...... I have an HD5770 that I tried running black ops thru wine with and it was a laggy mess....

I would have Linux right now because I hate winblows but ATi/AMD is a bitch because they don't support my graphics card anymore

it should be "r_fullscreen 0" make it "1" or if it is "1" make it "0"

So I just download WINE and PlayOnLinux, follow that guide at appdb.winehq.org; and I can install CoD4?

Install PlayOnLinux, it has a Call of Duty 4 installation script : )

i have tried using wine, the game actually boots in, but its as if its actually loaded and playable as i can hear all the menus, but i cant physically see anything, does this hav anything to du with direct x or something like this? thanx
