Covent Garden in 1985 was the venue for the first organised Hip Hop event in the UK. Graffiti action from the Chrome Angelz. Rock City, London All-Stars, Live To Break, Look Twice, The B-Boys, Breakazoids and others on the B-Boy tip. Imperial Mixers on the turntables.

Does anyone have the full version of this event? Old school UK landmark events, seem to be kept back by a small % of selfish idiots, who just want to hold on and not share the past. A whole generation are missing out on what I believe, were the defining moments in UK hiphop. This shit is almost 25 years old, so surely, if this clip was put together, then their MUST be a full version!!

I still have a cassette of the Shaw Theatre convention that you, Dazzle Fresh, Cosmic Jam and DJ Streets Ahead performed at.
Red Alert and Jazzy Joyce were there too.

Yeah Def - remember PSK - from that day on, all i could remember was those reverbed out hats, snares, & kicks going round & round & round !! Producers still sampling em & replaying em to this day - what you can do wit a Roland & Reverb heh!
