This was my favorite game as a kid on our 5200. I used to pull a chair close to the TV screen and lay blankets over them to create my own personal cockpit LOL

Star Raiders Rocks, I used to call this game "Star Trek" and pretend being on board the enterprise fighting the klingon ships, Great Times in my childhood :D.

Star Raiders may have been designed when the Atari 400 was becoming popular but the 5200 version is tops since you have the keyboard in the palm of your hand and the 5200 controller performs perfectly when playing this game.

I was a garbage scow captain and proud of it!

One time I was engaged in a knock down drag em out dogfight with two of the enemy base ships(the ones with the shields) and my older brother snuck up behind me and hollered,"KLINGONS IN THE CREW) and hit the "S" button which dropped my shields and destroyed my ship.

I had to buy a new joystick before my dad got home(It was HIS computer) because I threw it at my brother.

Man was I pissed, LOL!
