  • Be awesome if she could double head w/3751 up Cajon to Williams and have another 'Canyon Rails' event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree.

I've been a lifelong steam fan, but something I've never thought about until now, in regards to operational restorations, is coming in after seeing a machine such as this sit cold and silent for years on end and then, after so much work, being able to see what it looks like with a beating heart..so to speak. In this era of increased liability and decreased steam operation, this is truly a sight to cherish. CONGRATULATIONS guys, you've done good!!!!! Now lets get out on the high iron!

  • @bastard529 I grew up in maryville TN near the railroad tracks, but now live in Montana. We had #4449 go through last summer, which was a sight to see as it went over the continental divide at Marias pass. I like old trains and go to see every one that comes to town.
