Experimental 8mm film [full version about one third longer] based loosely on the saga of Lleu and Blodeuwedd [lady of flowers] from the fourth book of the Mabinogion. Amongst locations are Bryn Saeth (Gwynedd), Snowdonia and Llyn Morwynion, [lake of the maidens]. The newly discovered Bedd Gronw / Goronwys grave is featured where the action removes poetically to Barclodiad y Gawres, Neolithic chambered mound on the island of Anglesey, North Wales.
The film can be viewed on its own as an impressionist succession of imagery or, if required, a modern narrative is contained within the final ten or so paragraphs of the following:

I remember watching the TV series of The Owl Service as a kid. Watching this brought it all back. Very atmospheric and very otherworldly. I like this a lot.
