Hey! Glad you're back, but I disagree. Polygamy, more than bi-traditional marriage, is about male domination over women. Has polygamy ever been expressed as between one woman and multiple men? Why is it that two or more women have to share one man? And, what about same-sex polygamists? I think society has a compelling and vested interest in promoting institutions that do not subjugate people.

Im kinda split with the issue of Polygamy.I know there are people who are polyamorist but I also know that there are a lot of crazy Polygamist sects out there who are not only involved with polygamy, but with pedophilia by "marrying" under-aged women and maybe even by force.There is also a lot of subjugation involved with it too. Which is why I think if we legalize it, it would be sorta like supporting that behavior.well not the pedo part bcuz they cant legally marry them.I feel like a hypocrite

Honestly I think it's wrong a child who is not a consenting adult. That's all I can really say.

I dont know, kinda disagree with polygamy. Straight and gay marriages between two people tend to have a certain stability. Polygamy is usually has more fluctuation. A long term agreement between two people is more stable than an agreement made between three people. Probably tough on kids though, if people are coming in and going out of their lives.

SOOO cute lol, but I don't really pick sides toward marriage because, I fell as if I cannot ever judge marriage as a human being. I most likely will marry a man and that's my choice, now its up to others to do theirs.

To keep it short, and it's sad that people still use those two as examples against homosexual "consenting" adults. People are already, in some countries, are marrying children to those of adulthood. Plus, polygomy is happening, and in some states is legal. People, it's ok! If it doesn't effect you, leave it be. Damn!

Great point. Sexy lips. And I agree with you to a certain degree. BUT in regards to children, a child can't consent only because the law states they can't...not because they are not capable to ( he'll some "adults" aren't capable either..lol) ....in any rate I don't think people should get married just Cuz they are adults or gay or even straight. I think stricker qualifications should be given in order to obtain a marriage license such as pre marriage counselling.
