Why you can say "I Am Proud To Be An American"

I was not born in the US, however I am married to an american soldier, and im so proud of what he does for his country everyday. he is my hero, and I love and respect this country because it has give me all the opportunities that i couldnt get on my country. those people that are born in the US and criticize our troops and their country all the time should go live somewhere else, how about cuba or venezuela? thats right not freedom of speech! so you can go and shut your mouth!

I was not born in the US (Germany) but was raised n still live here. I know that America is a far cry from what the founding fathers had in mind and I understand reasons to not like America but if you're American it is YOUR country so you should show some love and respect for it! There r SO many hate for America vids on yt posted BY Americans, it turned my stomach. This is a great vid!
